What we do
Four ways we help a game get made — and get to Asia.
01
Game Design
From a concept or a rough prototype to a tested, manufacturable game. We find the decision that makes it worth playing.

02
Our edgeLocalization for Asia
Traditional & Simplified Chinese and Japanese editions — including games where the puzzle is the component and a mistranslation breaks the solve.

03
Consulting
Sharpening rulesets, balancing mechanics, stress-testing prototypes with players who don't already love your game.

Selected works
Games we've designed, localized and published.
Publishing · 2024
Gotcha!
A student-designed party game about empathy and miscommunication — taken from a competition prototype to a published title now used across the social-welfare sector.
Localization · 2023–2024
EXIT: The Game — Traditional Chinese Edition
Traditional-Chinese localization of KOSMOS's award-winning escape-room series — where every clue, cipher and physical gimmick has to keep working in a new language.
TRPG · 2026
Floria (翠緑のフローリア) — Chinese Edition
Bringing a Japanese doujin TRPG into Traditional Chinese — our first full tabletop RPG system, licensed directly from its creators and crowdfunded in Taiwan.
Who we've worked with
Publishers, circles and charities — here and abroad.
-
Paklung Toys (栢龍玩具)
Hong Kong distributor of EXIT
-
Phantasm Space (六畳間幻想空間)
original Japanese circle

How we work
A clear path from idea to table.
-
1
Validate
We pressure-test the idea and the audience before anything gets expensive.
-
2
Design
Mechanics, components and rules built to be made — not just to look good on a slide.
-
3
Test
Blind playtesting with real players, then cut what doesn't earn its place.
-
4
Deliver
Production, localization and a path to backers, stores and tables.
Timelines and engagement models vary by project — tell us what you're making.
Why a Hong Kong studio
We don't design from a desk.
Our team also runs a board game store. We spend evenings watching real players open rulebooks, get hooked, get stuck, and come back. That frontline view — plus direct relationships with partners in Japan and Taiwan — is what lets us bridge a Western title into Asian markets without losing what made it special.
